Entry is where basic training has been undertaken and the Introductory Classification has been achieved or assessed by the instructor. Instruction is given on contact equipment, and jumping of hurdles at a medium level. Handlers are advised as to the best methods of training on each piece of equipment with health and safety in mind.
Handlers are instructed in ways to use multiple pieces of equipment and shown how to develop various techniques which will assist in the development of the dog and handler as a team. Entire courses are practised; the course is designed with the developing dog and handler in mind. Courses are broken down into training elements and then the entire course is completed.
